Blitz Patrollie stars two South African hilarious comedians David Kau as Ace Dikolobe and Joey Rasdien as Rummy Augustine as well as Kagiso Lediga as Ledwaba. Ingmar Bergman in his exceptional essay: What is making a film? explains eloquently that it is due to the perforated film strip composed of small rectangular images fifty-two to the meter which are separated from its neighbours by a black band and when fed through the projector as a series of successive images at only one twenty-fourth of a second, creates the illusion of movement.
