Since being founded in 2003, TOM Pictures has produced numerous quality film and television products for the local and international market such as Gums & Noses (Winner, Best Actor, New York Film Festival 2005), God is African, Rifle Road, Gathering the Scattered Cousins (Selected for Toronto Film Festival 2006), Dust on our Feet, Sorted 1&2 (Selected for Input at Taipei 2006), and A Place Called Home. Partners Robbie Thorpe, Akin Omotoso and Kgomotso Matsunyane. The company is based in Johannesburg to create content for the local and international markets and to participate in the growth and understanding of Africa.
