The Foundation supports skills programmes which are aimed at addressing the industry skills gaps. In the future, our research department will guide us on the industry skills gaps & in turn assist us to focus on developing specific skills through specific training.
Training programmes that we support are those which have been thoroughly researched, address the skills shortages and are formal in nature. We look for focused skills programmes that are not aimed at creating awareness but those that hone particular skills in the film & television industry. The applicant should be a formalised & accredited training organisation to access our training funds. In this way we ensure the sustainability of the training.
Training providers can apply for training funds from us throughout the year. A contract with milestones will be entered into with the provider.
