How does someone with no film experience get assistance from the foundation? The foundation would advise anybody with little experience in the industry to first do some self-learning. On our website, under the funding tab we have a resources page. There are links to screenplays and explanation what a logline is. The NFVF also sells some books that can introduce new filmmakers to film structure before they apply to us for development funding.
Can the foundation assist me in enrolling for a short film course? Please contact the Wildlife Film Academy to seek for a bursary. The NFVF funds the Academy to provide a few bursaries to students who cannot afford the fees.
When do bursary forms come out?Bursary application forms usually come out June of every year, to apply for the next year.
We want to apply to the NFVF for funding for a project that combines production with education and training. Which application form should we use?A training application form would be best, if it is a training initiative that looks at producing some of the work.
