The NFVF’s participation at the Cape Town International Film Market and Festival (CTIFMF)
The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF), an agency of the Department of Arts and Culture will be participating at the last day of the industry programme at the Cape Town International Film Market and Festival (CTIFMF), on the 13th of October 2018.
The NFVF’s participation is twofold, a Work Café and the ABC of applications sessions.
Work Cafe:
Time: 10h00 – 18h00
Venue: Meeting Room 4, Workshop 17
This session will host representatives from South Africa (NFVF and DTI), Kenya, Nigeria and Brazil as they present an overview of their respective country’s national film landscape, mechanisms for film financing and support available for co-productions.
ABC of Funding Applications:
Time: 09h00 – 13h00
Venue: The Comedy Club
The workshop will outline the NFVF’s funding programmes, key criteria for evaluation as well as clarifying common mistakes made on funding applications. It is aimed at preparing applicants for the next and future funding cycles.
