DETAILS
The New Zealand Film Commission (NZFC) and the National Film and Video
Foundation (NFVF) will hold a virtual summit for animation producers and studios on Wednesday 23 March 2022.
The online event is designed to facilitate co-production, collaboration and business
development opportunities between New Zealand and South African animation
producers and studios.
This summit is exclusively for experienced New Zealand and South African
animation producers with recent credits on significant feature film and/or series
productions that have screened theatrically, on a digital platform or via a
broadcast/cable network.
Activities for participating companies include agency and funding overviews by
representatives from NZFC and NFVF, followed by B2B meetings between New
Zealand and South African producers.
Six established animation studios from each of New Zealand and South Africa will be selected to participate in the summit, which will be held on Zoom. If more than one person from an individual studio wishes to join the summit and participate in the meetings, that is completely fine. Please include the names of any additional
colleagues joining you as part of your application.
