National Film and Video Foundation Video on Demand – Call for project submissions
The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) will be launching the South African Video on Demand (VOD) site at Durban International Film Festival in July.
The VOD site is created to assist the audio visual industry in distributing content locally and internationally, allowing VOD users to watch films and TV shows when they choose to, rather than having to watch at a specific broadcast time.
The NFVF will publish a catalogue of films, trailers, and biographies of South African talent participating in all spheres of the film industry on the site.
Films:
Independent filmmakers with projects that have completed projects requested to email the following information for inclusion in the VOD site.
- Title
- Cast and Crew
- Director
- Writing credits
- Producer
- Cast
- Music
- Cinematography
- Film editing
- Production design
- Casting director
- Full synopsis of the project
- Tagline
- High resolution poster and one sheet(300dpi)
- HD Trailer
- High resolution production stills (where available)
Biography:
Biographies of filmmakers and actors for the inclusion on the VOD site are requested to email the following information:
- Name and Surname
- Short biography (270 words)
- High resolution profile image
Deadline for submissions is Friday, 7 July 2017. NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE CONSIDERED.
